This screen is used to add or edit a works order. Works orders are only available if Bills of Material are being used and standard costing is set as the stock valuation method.

For more information on works orders see 'Menu->Help->User Guides->Stock'.

Select from the dropdown list the BOM (Bill of material) to be manufactured

Enter the quantity that the works order is to make. Be sure Unit of Measure is consistent.

Enter a Make Date which is the date given to the stock movement transactions.

The making does NOT automatically run on that date, the user is still responsible for launching the making.
