Employee Payslip

This screen allows the production of employee payslips for a given pay run.

To focus to a particular payslip, set the relevant PAYE year, the pay interval and the PAYE period. Click the GO button to produce a list of the relevant payslips.

Payslips can be printed as hard copy PDF reports and/or emailed directly to the Employee. Note a valid email address is indicated by the Edit  symbol; a Edit  symbol indicates no valid email address is set. Additionally the payslip can be saved within Liberty Accounts to be viewed later as a saved Payroll report by clicking Edit  symbol. Note that in the case of emailing or saving, a system confirmation message confirms the action at the top of the page.

Printing and emailing can be done in bulk by selecting those required and clicking Bulk Print or Bulk Mail. Saving a payslip is done individually.



PAYE Year

The PAYE Year drop down list contains valid PAYE years that can be selected. PAYE years run from the 6th April to the following 5th April; So that PAYE Year 2004/2005 means from 6th April 2004 to 5th April 2005.

Pay Interval

Select the pay interval from the dropdown box. The pay interval relates to when payrolls are run.

PAYE Period

PAYE period is the week or month number which includes the date of payment. Weekly and monthly charts are published each PAYE year by the Inland Revenue. e.g. in 2004/2005 week 1 is 6th April to 12th April, month 1 is 6th April to 5th May.

Print 2 Per page

As users are most likely to be printing out to A4, Liberty Accounts offers the option to print 2 payslips per page in order to save paper. In such a situation the user is responsible for cutting the paper sheets and reprinting payslips where the details did not all fit into the allocated space.
