Edit Works Order

This screen is used to add or edit details of a works order. Works orders are only available if Bills of Material are being used and standard costing is set as the stock valuation method.

The BoM selection may be filtered by All BoMS, Finished Goods BoMs or WIP BoMs

BOM Name

Select from the dropdown list the BOM (Bill of material) to be manufactured

Sales Order

A sales order may be associated with this works order if required.

Quantity

Enter the quantity that the works order is to make. Be sure Unit of Measure is consistent.

Make Date

Enter a Make Date which is the date given to the stock movement transactions.

The making does NOT automatically run on that date, the user is still responsible for launching the making.

Memo

Enter any memo information required
