Organisation Security Policy
The Organisation can use this screen to set their policy with respect to using Enhanced Login Security.
Basic login requires that the user enters a User name and a Password. The organisation may feel that this level of security is simple, convenient and sufficient.
Where the organisation feels it is necessary to protect with an additional layer of login security, select by ticking the box.
- Mandate Enhanced Login Security for User Access
- This option ensures all users will need to apply Enhanced Login Security to access the organisation's accounts data.
- Anonymise employee transactions if user has insufficient privileges
- Where a user's role excludes them from personnel and payroll activities viewing a transaction that would show a name that name will be displayed anonymised. For more on Role Based Access click the link.
- Anonymise donations if user has insufficient privileges
- Where a user's role excludes them from donor and donation activities viewing a transaction that would show a name that name will be displayed anonymised. For more on Role Based Access click the link.
- Permit Access by Liberty Accounts Support Staff
- This option allows Liberty Accounts support staff to give themselves access to your accounts file. If this option is left checked it allows Liberty to give proactive support by immediately investigating support queries or system alerts relating to an organisation. The Security Event log for the organisation will show the support staff granting access and opening the file so it is fully transparent. If this option is unchecked and the issue requires access to your data for investigation, you will either need to grant access to a specific user agent, or temporarily change the policy to allow the agent involved in the support incident to give themselves access. Note that where a user raises a support issue, but does not have sufficient privileges to change the security policy or grant access to an existing user, investigation may be delayed if the user who does have sufficient privileges is not available.
