Add Department

This screen is used to create and edit a Department associated with the organisation.

Active

If this tickbox is un-ticked a department will be considered inactive. Deactivate a department if you do not want them to appear in drop-down lists.

Department Name

Enter the department name as you would like it to appear in drop-down lists.

Department code

A department code may be set up for use when using data import facilities.

Default

Clicking this box will designate this Department as the default in entering transactions. It of course may be amended as required when the transaction is created.

Contact Details

Enter contact details as required.

When complete click SUBMIT to store the information and selections.
