Statutory Year End Accounts for Charities and Churches

A powerful tool that simplifies the process of preparing annual accounts and notes for regulatory compliance. Users can now generate compliant charity accounts tailored to meet the latest UK charity regulations directly from Liberty Accounts. This significantly helps save time, reduce errors, and ensure transparency.

Output is consistent with the latest SORP 2026 with tier 1 organisations being able to select between natural classification or activity based reporting.

The Process

Prepare the management accounting records
The usual regular bookkeeping activities for the reporting period.
Confirm the accounting policies
Only applies for those reporting under Income and Expenditure. Under the Control menu note the accounting policies. To ease things, default standard notes can be accepted and/or amended.
Run the SoFA or SoRP
From the Reports menu run the Statement of Financial Activities (SoFA) or Statement of Receipts and Payments (SoRP) for the reporting period and when ready simply click YEAR END ACCOUNTS.
