Sales Invoice and Credit Notes

This screen lists any customer invoices and credit notes that have been issued between the given dates. The list can also be filtered by customer, date and payment status.

A user may opt to print and or email a number of invoices/credit note as a bulk job. Click the ALL box; if required un-select any documents from the list not needed to be printed/emailed and click on PRINT or EMAIL. If printed a pdf file with all selected documents is then prepared.

Individual invoices may be printed/emailed by clicking the the printer icon or arrow icon to send as email.

Invoices may also be printed as despatch notes, simply click on Print Invoice as Despatch Note box and print.

The vertical-nav-24-compact-grey action box symbol gives access to the following actions.

Open
to view/modify details relating to the invoice. Note if a receipt has been allocated to the invoice or it has been included in a filed VAT return the details may only be viewed not amended.
Add Prepayment Schedule

to set up the details of a schedule. More information is available from this Prepayment Schedules link.

Audit

to open a transaction audit report that provides a non-editable history of the transaction and its accounting impact. The report details which user recorded the initial transaction together with the date and time as well as the details of any subsequent amendments.

Delete
to remove the invoice. Note if a receipt has been allocated to the invoice or it has been included in a filed VAT return the delete option will not be available.

Note that a crown symbol displays when an invoice has been included in a filed VAT return.

Receipt allocations can be viewed by clicking the manage allocations icon. This open a dialogue box in which the allocated receipt(s) are displayed and may be de-allocated from the invoice if necessary.

Hovering over the red + symbol displays an Add Invoice tag and a green Cn button.
